- I am an actor and broadcaster. I am grateful to have spent my life in the arts. Now I also write and paint. I am humbly trying to overcome selfishness, it's effects and regrets. I read history, philosophy, psychology and religion. I had to think about this one, DB, for just a minute or two and you are absolutely right. I had to imagine it as if I was playing poker with cards and then equate it to thoughts and then it made perfect sense. Got to take what is given you (dealt) and come up with a strategy for getting a winning hand (thinking about solutions, game plans for life, etc). Yep, I totally agree!!
