- I am an actor and broadcaster. I am grateful to have spent my life in the arts. Now I also write and paint. I am humbly trying to overcome selfishness, it's effects and regrets. I read history, philosophy, psychology and religion. gosh I totally agree with this one, DB! I've read some of your other jottings; are these your sayings or sayings of others?? they are like proverbs from the Bible and that is one of my favorite books of the Bible; I'll be back for more wisdom
