Vagabondism #248

248 I'm just a candle in the darkness lit by another's flame. He who is truly enlighened shines with his own flame needing neither match nor wick.

Oh how true! When we are in the darkness we sometimes need to be lighted by another flame. Yet, it may just be, there is an ember inside us, the dark has hidden, and in seeing another's flame, it fams our own and our light too begins to shine again. Our inner Light glows again.... our ember doesn't die... It may dim and hibernate, but we are all enlightened beings, if we listen. Oh I love your wisdom dear soul. I've been away from the blog for a while but I'm back. Thanks for letting me visit. It's always a pleasure here. Blessings to you and yours. Love and Light, Nina p

No man is a light, entire of it self; every man is a piece of the day, a part of the dawn; ...
any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind;
And therefore never send to ask for whom the light died,
It died for thee!

I am an actor and broadcaster. I am grateful to have spent my life in the arts. Now I also write and paint. I am humbly trying to overcome selfishness, it's effects and regrets. I read history, philosophy, psychology and religion. My desire is to share what I have with the world while trying to make sense of a difficult life and enjoying the journey, no rituals, no rules, no summations.
